Pie with Sweet Myzithra

Ingredients

5 crust sheets

Butter for crust sheets

For stuffing

1kg Sweet Myzithra or Myzitrhoula-ki Kalogeraki

5 eggs

½ teaspoon cinnamon powder

2 tablespoon fine semolina

Zest of 1 lemon

2 tablespoon honey

1 teacup sugar

For topping

2 tablespoon honey

Powdered sugar

Cinnamon

Implementation

Use a fork to melt Sweet Myzithra or Myzitrhoula-ki Kalogeraki.

Add the eggs, semolina, sugar, honey, cinnamon and the lemon zest. Stir well until you have a homogeneous mixture.

In a pyrex, lay the crust sheets, one by one, slightly coated with butter.

Pour the stuffing and bake in a pre-heated oven in 160 degrees for 45 minutes.

Add honey, powdered sugar, cinnamon and serve!
