Dinner in our diet
Dinner is not harmful for our body when we follow a balanced diet. The correct dietary intake during the day should be such that it allows us to have a light dinner.
Remember, a light dinner 2-3 hours before bed can help significantly in both weight control and the quality of our sleep!
What hurts us is eating the wrong meal on the recommendation of e.g. loaded with carbs, fat and then go to bed right away! This bad habit can lead to gastroesophageal reflux disease, indigestion as well as insulin hypersecretion, leading to insulin resistance, which prevents weight loss. That's why a salad like the one pictured with a quantity of protein like cheese makes us a balanced choice for our diet.

1 tablespoon olive oil
