INGREDIENTS

375g Fresh Myzithra Kalogeraki

250g cream with 35% fat

70g powdered sugar

50g cocoa powder

¼ κουτ. of sweet vanilla (optional)

IMPLEMENTATION

Drain the mizithra from any liquids and place it in a food processor.

Add the sour cream, icing sugar, cocoa and vanilla and beat the mixture as needed to have a fluffy and shiny chocolate cream.

This process can also be done with a hand blender. We pour all the ingredients into a bowl and with the hand blender we start to mash them. In this case we will need a little more time.

When the mousse is ready, the cream will have a fluffy texture and will be shiny, we will divide it into 5 glasses or bowls.

Put our glasses in the refrigerator well covered with cling film for about 1 to 2 hours and then serve, after garnishing the mousse with pieces of chocolate or cocoa powder.

This particular Chocolate Mousse is kept in the refrigerator well covered for 1 day.

Serving suggestions:

We can serve the mousse with a light whipped cream beating 240g cream with 35% fat along with 2 tablespoons of icing sugar.

We can also add color and extra flavor to our dessert by combining it with a syrup of our choice.

We enjoy it plain, garnishing it only with pieces of chocolate or sprinkled with cocoa.

Finally we can create a Trifle. Break our favorite chocolate cookies into a glass and then cover the cookies with the Chocolate Mousse. Garnish with chocolate pieces and serve
