INGREDIENTS

FOR THE CAKE:

3 eggs

2 & 2/3 cups of flour for all purposes (sieved)

3/4 cup of full fat fresh milk (in room temperature)

3/4 cup of butter

2 cups of sugar

20gr baking powder

3/4 cup of finely chopped walnuts

1 fullspoon instant coffee

1 fullspoon hot water

FOR THE FROSTING:

300gr Prince Dessert with yoghurt culture Kalogeraki

200gr praline

100gr butter

10 fullspoons powedered sugar

1,5 fullspoons instant coffee

1 fullspoon hot water

*tip: you may also use decaffeinated coffee

IMPLEMENTATION

In a bowl whisk in mixer butter with sugar (very well until your mixture is fluffy), then add one by one the eggs without stopping whisking and then gradually the flour mixed with baking powder and the milk with coffee (mix the fullspoon of coffee with the hot water).

At the end add the walnuts by stiring gently the mixture.

Put the cake mixture in a buttered cake pan.

Bake in preheated oven in 180C for ~45'.

When the cake is ready, set aside until its not hot and take it off the cake pan on a plate. It has to be cold in order to coat it with the frosting.

Prepare the frosting: in a bowl whisk in mixer praline with butter until you get a smooth mixture. Then add powedered sugar and whisk for another 1'. Add the coffee (after mixing it with hot water) and again whisk to have an even result. Then add Prince Dessert with yoghurt culture Kalogeraki straight from the fridge. Mix again.

Coat your cake with the frosting. On top add some extra walnuts and enjoy!
