Ingredients

For the orange pie:
6 crust douch sheets
300 gr. "Prince" Dessert (with yoghurt culture)
160ml sunflower seed oil
160 gr. sugar
100ml orange juice
4 eggs
2 tbsp. orange zest
2 tbsp. baking powder
2 vanillin capsules
A pinch of salt

For the syrup:
300 gr. sugar
200ml water
100 gr. orange juice
1 cinnamon stick

Implementation

Chop the crust with a pair of scissors, and let the sheets dry. Once the're dried rub them with your hands so that they 'll break into small pieces. Add the sugar, the eggs, the vanilla, the orange zest and salt in a bowl and use the mixer for 3-4 minutes. In your mixture add the sunflower seed oil, the Prince dessert and the baking powder and as soon as they're all mixed, add the crust pieces with a spatula. Place the mixture into an oiled non-stick pan and leave for 15 minutes before baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 180oC for 50 minutes and while the orange pie is in the oven, boil all the ingredients for the syrup. Pour the hot orange pie with the syrup and once it's cool, serve it with "Prince" Dessert Kalogeraki.

Tips: We can put the Prince dessert in the freezer for a while so it'll look like an ice cream ball.
