Fresh Myzithra

Mizithra is a soft kind of cheese which has a prominent place on the list of traditional Cretan Cheeses. It is well-known as it consists the main ingredient of the famous Cretan sweet "Kalitsouni".

Fresh Myzithra Kalogeraki stands out for its rich flavor and the fact that it can be a pleasant accompaniment to many different kinds of food. Its production is very special related to other places of Greece and it is made from high- quality sheep & goat milk and whey.

Texture and Color: It is characterized as a soft white cheese with a fluffy, smooth surface.

Taste: particularly pleasant, sweetish and slightly brackish with a rich fresh milk aroma.

“Key to success”: The constantly excellent quality and taste of our milk which comes from livestock grazing in mountain and foothill areas of Crete, an island blessed with rich flora.

The production process of all our products is certified according to ISO 22000:2005 quality assurance system and that of IFS standard (International Food Safety).

You can make delicious pies and kalitsounia with Fresh Myzithra or just serve it with honey as a dessert.

There is also a smaller package to choose. We call it Myzithroulaki! That means Mini Myzithra. It is in a package of 550gr.
