Nutrition tips for Christmas meals

The Christmas days approach and the Greek prepares to store 3-4 pounds in a few days.

But is it possible to avoid this increase? Of course! If you follow the tips below, you can enjoy the festive tables without adding extra pounds to your body!

  • Consume 4-5 meals a day.

Keep a balance on holiday days and do not go to the logic "I do not eat all day long because I'm preparing for the evening dinner." The less hungry I get to the festive table, the greater is the chance not to escape.

  • Make your diet the days you know in advance that you will consume too much food.

For example, if you have a festive dinner table at night, eat something light at noon, for example. A rich salad with a small piece of cheese and a little nut.

  • Festive Tables.

In the festive meals that will follow these days, choose from the beginning the amount of food you will eat. Choose from the table the foods of your choice and put a quantity of them on your plate. Restrict yourself to this quantity alone.

  • The vegetables are placed on a Christmas table.

Drink plenty of vegetables during meals. They help us satiate faster and facilitate digestion.

  • Beware of sweets.

Kurambiedes, melomakarona, basil pie and various other sweets will definitely be found in front of you. For those who do not want to avoid them, then the right choice is to consume them either as a breakfast with some milk or as an intermediate snack.

  • Attention to alcohol.

Limit to 1 to 2 glasses of wine at all times.

  • Eat sufficient water.

A hydrated body can definitely work better when it comes to managing a "sinful" period.

By carefully following the tips above, you will be able to enjoy the celebrations while keeping your weight stable. Remember the golden rule 'metrono excellence' and apply it to your Christmas diet.
